What if there isn’t a PrintMyDocuments library near me?
We are working with more libraries all the time to increase the number of sites where PrintMyDocuments is available, and our coverage across the UK is continuously increasing. If your local library doesn’t currently offer this service, you will usually be able to visit the library and print from their PCs.

How much does it cost to print my document?
The price of printing is set by libraries, not by PrintMyDocuments, so you will need to check with your library.

When you go to the library to collect your print, you will be given the option to choose colour or black and white printing for your document before it is released to the printer.

What devices can I print from?
PrintMyDocuments supports printing from any browser enabled device, including Windows 7, 10 and 11, Apple MacOS devices (MacBook, iMac and Mac products), iOS devices (iPhone and
iPad), Chrome OS devices such as Chromebooks and Chromeboxes, and Android devices.

What document formats can I print?
PrintMyDocuments allows the printing of a range of standard office document formats and PDF files.

How do I collect my print?
Whether you have uploaded your document from home or whilst you’re in the library, you will need to pay for and release your document in the library. Some libraries offer self-service print payment and release from a self-service kiosk, and at some libraries you will need to go to the counter – either way, you can quickly and easily pay for and collect your print.

Can I scan and print a document?
Yes. Documents can be scanned using the ‘Tap to Scan’ function on an Android device or the ‘Scan’ option in Notes on Apple devices. Once the document has been scanned and saved it can then be uploaded and sent to print at your local library.
